Subject: PLQ taking flight
This saturday night show at the last night at this venue, with a newly minted "Phil Lesh Quintet" as it would come to be known, was a pretty hot one to attend. Thanks to GDTS-TOO, we had some close (though extreeeeme left side) orchestra seats.
Plenty of highlights for me; Warren's vocals on Stella Blue and Wharf Rat among them. I remember watching the balcony dance along during Bertha and Passenger.
The jam out of St Stephen has a brief pause for a guitar change by Warren due to a broken string (though he did some serious ripping with five strings before that), prior to the Jam into The Eleven.
This and the other currently posted version both sound very good.
The fades at the end of D2/start of D3 on this version have enough overlap for splicing together tracks, for those with the means to do so...
